What’s better than grasping a glass of champagne in your hand, while making your own flower crowns and eating brunch with an amazing tablescape for your bridal shower?
Nothing, absolutely nothing!
Bianca has such a big heart. She isn’t one for crowds and connects better in intimate settings with her close gal pals. She gravitates towards glam while remaining one of the most laid-back women you know. With this in mind we worked with Bianca and her soon to be sister-in-law's to style the day with an effortless, modern bohemian theme. We wanted the bride to enjoy a relaxing shower with her girlfriends and celebrate the special occasion over brunch + mimosas but added in fun activities such as candle making and flower crowns to make the shower even more special.
We will try to refrain from overusing the word, “darling” to describe this intimate bridal shower at Thirteen48 Heights but we just can’t help it…with vibrant colors, florals, greenery and wood tones this event is simply…darling!
A floral crown is the ultimate accessory to make a statement at your relaxed & fun boho bridal shower. Summer led the floral crown activity and mixed and matched colors like oranges, reds, pinks & blushes to create super vibrant and beautiful crowns. If you are all about the photos tell your girls to dress to the theme with mix & match lace, bohemian floral patterns!
Guests enjoyed the memorable hands-on experience of creating their own custom scented candle and learning about the candle making process with Jessica. They chose from over 15 scents to mix their own signature candle scents, hand poured the wax and added personalized labels to remember the day.
For that bohemian vibe and wanderlust spirit we layered old and new. Antique pieces tell a story, but new ones add a modern twist. For this looked we scoured thrift shops for unique finds, like candlesticks and vases. We mixed contemporary pink glasses and gold silverware to add a fresh contemporary touch. We let nature do the talking by creating a beautiful centerpiece full of pink palms and fresh greenery to tie the table décor together.
